Features – Incident Care Management

Smart workflows for better care management 

Every person in the care team has an important role to play. When an incident happens, an effective response and timely communication between the team means people being supported receive the best possible care.  

If something happens, like a person has a fall or there’s a behavioural incident, you can trust in Nourish to help guide you. With our Incident Care Management feature, we’ve built in all the steps and processes you need in line with best practice from NICE and the Professional Record Standards Body (PRSB). This means the team can respond confidently, safe in the knowledge of being compliant with the CQC and the Health and Safety Executive.  

Once an incident is recorded, our system will load the necessary reports automatically onto the timeline. For example, a fall will trigger a post-fall review or if there’s been an injury, a wound assessment will need to be filled out. This means the right reports will be ready and waiting to be completed.  

When an incident happens, an email is sent to the superuser in your service to inform them. This means the wider team stays in the loop to respond confidently and safely.
