VIVALDI Social Care Study

Nourish is a proud partner of The Outstanding Society and supports their goal in assisting care services to achieve an Outstanding rating. Nourish have been working on the VIVALDI Social Care Study alongside The Outstanding Society, UCL and Care England.

The VIVALDI Social Care Study’s mission is to improve the quality of life for people living, visiting, and working in care homes, while also reducing the risk of infections and avoiding hospital admissions. They endeavour to achieve this through the study that utilises existing data, with minimal input required from care home providers. 

VIVALDI Panel Discussion  

As VIVALDI Social Care Study progresses, The Outstanding Society, University College London and Care England recently held a panel discussion with guest speakers Professor Deborah Sturdy, Chief Nurse for Adult Social Care and Professor Ruth Endacott, NIHR Director of Nursing and Midwifery. The panel discussed the importance of research in the sector and how it can improve the lives of people living in care homes, enhance the experience of friends and families visiting their loved ones and improve staff morale leading to better retention and recruitment of staff.  

Care Home Participation 

Over 700 care homes have already onboarded for this exciting study. The next step is to provide a further overview for stakeholders across the sector. This is an opportunity for providers, their teams, residents, relatives, ICB’s and your local community to hear about the progress made and ask any questions you may have ahead of the official launch at the Residential and Home Care show in April. If you are a provider and would like to hear more about getting involved in this project, this is a perfect opportunity to hear from other providers, relatives, and professionals across the sector.   

VIVALDI at Health Plus Care

Will you be attending Health Plus Care: Residential & Home Care Show on the 26th & 27th April at the ExCeL in London?  

On day one of the show, the VIVALDI study will be officially launched at 3:30pm in the People & Business Theatre followed by drinks and canapes in The Outstanding Society Learning Lounge where care services can sign up to be part of the study.
