Strengthening Connected Care: Nobi and Nourish Integration

By Lorcán Murray

Late last year, Nobi integrated with Nourish. Bringing together two systems that are increasingly central to how care homes coordinate resident wellbeing and daily care delivery.

For many providers, integration is no longer a “nice to have” but a core requirement. Care teams are already working under significant pressure. Reducing duplication, manual input, and fragmented systems has a direct impact on both efficiency and care quality. With this in mind, the integration between Nobi and Nourish was a natural step. Designed to ensure that insights from Nobi’s ambient sensing technology can be more easily incorporated into wider care workflows where Nourish is in use.

Nobi is now deployed across 17 countries and continues to grow. Nobi’s key focus is on helping care teams respond faster to falls and, increasingly, understand and prevent them. Nobi is more than an alerting system. Their emphasis is on generating context, helping teams identify patterns in incidents such as environmental factors, movement behaviours, or timing trends that may otherwise go unnoticed.

This approach has recently been independently evaluated by Lancaster University across more than 57 care homes in the UK. The study reported a 32% reduction in falls, alongside reductions in ambulance call-outs and hospital admissions. Additionally, the report noted significantly improved response times. Importantly, the findings also highlighted how care teams are using this insight to adjust environments and routines, contributing to longer-term prevention rather than reactive response alone.

Taken together, these developments reflect a broader shift in care technology. From isolated tools towards connected systems that support both real-time response and continuous learning within care environments.

As integration between platforms like Nobi and Nourish continues to evolve, the focus remains on reducing complexity for staff while improving visibility, coordination, and ultimately outcomes for residents.
